American Morgan Horse Association Open Awards
Chipper Kyle Farm is an AMHA Morgan Open Award at the August and October Schooling Horse Trials. This award recognized the overall highest scoring Morgan, regardless of the division in which the horse competes.
Cross Country Course Construction
CKF has designed a Training level cross country course and is more than half finished with its construction. We flagged a Training/Novice course in October 2006, which incorporated 11 maximum Novice fences, and 11 new fences at 3'3". Riders enjoyed Training level dressage and Training level show jumping at our last schooling event. A water complex was completed Summer 2007, along with ten more Training obstacles.
Young Event Horse Division (schooling)
We now run a YEH division which follows USEA guidelines, except that height specifications are lower. There is a short dressage test and stadium and cross country fences are mixed on a 500-meter track. In-hand judging for conformation, suitability, and presence is included.
