Chipper Kyle Farm has complete cross country courses from Elementary through Training Level; all courses have varied terrain with some water and good galloping areas. All courses are available for schooling. |

Elementary - Moderately difficult with a small creek on course. All fences at 2'0". Fair
amount of hilly terrain.
Beginner
Novice - Average for horses with some experience at this level. 60%
of fences are at or near max height and width; 7 out of 17 fences are Elementary
max height and weight. Ditches revetted on take-off side only; hills, banks,
creek, and easy drops. Pass-through water.
Novice
- Average for horses with some experience at this level. About 70% of fences
are at or nearly max height and width. 6 fences out of 19 are at max BN guidelines.
Ditches, banks, drop, creek, hills, and small drop into water (new for 2007).
Training
- Training course is average
for horses with some experience at this level. About 25% of fences at max
Novice height and width. 16 out of 22 fences are evenly divided between max
true to level, and average difficulty. Coffin, ditches, banks, creek, hills,
one-stride A & B, and water A & B elements. Fit horse required.
Preliminary/Training
- The Preliminary/Training course should be an easy ride for a seasoned Training
horse with just enough Preliminary obstacles to give a horse that bumped-up
flavor.
